Blueberry Pie Smoothie
I love to enjoy this recipe in the fall, or in the evenings when I want to feel cozy (without the comfort food). My Zumba class really enjoyed the richness of flavors in this delicious smoothie! I balance the sweetness of dates and blueberries with a little hint of cinnamon.
Blueberries contain multiple antioxidants, which support the immune system. Dates and bananas provide essential potassium for mineral absorption. Try this recipe before a big workout to keep your energy levels high.
2 cups filtered water
2 cups spinach
1 cup frozen blueberries
4 dates, pits removed
2 tsp (or to taste) ground cinnamon
Blend all ingredients at high speed for 50 seconds. Pour into glass and top with additional cinnamon to make it fancy!!
